David Jetmore on the Environment & Nature

Our relationship with nature shapes not only the world around us, but the way we understand our own place in it. In this thoughtful conversation, David reflects on a lifetime of observing, working with, and learning from the natural world. Together, father and daughter explore stewardship, balance, resilience, and the responsibility to leave more than we take. Along the way, they consider what a fallen tree, a patch of honeysuckle, a nesting bird, and an oak planted decades ago can teach us about caring for the land… and about the kind of legacy that can last for generations.

“So the fields, the woods, the ground, it all needs to be, it all needs to be preserved. And what’s been damaged, it needs to be repaired. We can do all these things. And it heals up your heart when you do it.” (David, 20:25)
